A friend on Plurk mentioned being a bit tired of multi-layered outfits on the feed – which given she’s from Texas makes perfect sense to me. However, living in a place that goes from chilly to steamy in the course of a day, I love me some layers. Besides, I feel an ornery streak coming on and want to tweak her nose a bit…even if she did give me at atta’girl today. What can I say, I am a provacateur.

I shot this one last night and to be perfectly honest, it has fewer layers than it seems to have. Once you take off the MinaMina Kohime jacket,  the Zaara two layered turtleneck and tank are really only one layer of clothing. That makes total sense in Second Life as it saves a layer, but tell me, why oh why did I get a faux layered shirt in real life? It sort of defeats the purpose of layers. It’s a never again mistake, I assure you

The pants are from a pantsuit by Sysy Chapman and they seem to be made for this jacket. I paired them with the Berry High Oxfords from Tesla (honestly, I am thrilled I went for the fat pack!!) and love the rich, luxurious look of the fabric.

Earrings from luc fashion jewelry with the cherry wood blend in beautifully and the simplicity of the Persona necklace keep the outfit from being too busy. The makeup is the stunning Grace from PXL Creations in natural. I love the generous smattering of freckles and the elegant features of this makeup.
