I received this dress in a folder of review items from ChantKare owner/designer Applonia Criss. In the folder she noted the inspiration for her gowns which was such an interesting touch. For example, this dress was inspired by a vase. Chantkare opened in August and as a new store, there’s not a lot of outfits, but every one is something new, different and lovingly made. For me, the rich colors and beautiful textures make this a compelling and wonderful gown.

Here you can see the beautiful skirt. I love the Asian inspiration in the fabric, the persimmon, gold and cream colors. It’s just a lovely, lovely gown.

I seldom carry a purse in SL, which is odd as I am famously fanatical about purses in RL and dedicate four shoeracks and two shelves in my closet to my purses. Of course, in RL I have to carry a purse and in SL – well, my inventory holds everything everywhere I go. For this, however, I did pull out the lovely brown pochette from Baiastice.

Red jasper earrings and necklace from Persona made a good match to the persimmon in the dress.

Makeup this lovely could only come from Hart Larsson and PXL Creations. The hair is from Boon – who does messy, wild hair so well.
