Continuing my love affair with Paper Couture, I put on their magnificent Puntino dress. Like the rest of their collection of avarian inspired clothes, it is a feathery confection. However, I think the feather remind me of a beautiful delicate and enduring milkweed pod. Whether their natural inspiration came from birds or weeds, they spun it into this dream of a dress.

They marry a gossamer light bodice with a skirt made of rich, heavy satin. You can see the weight of that satin in the photo. Heaavy satins like that have a substance that gives a dress grace and elegance. Meanwhile, the bodice is an ethereal tracery of feathers and lace providing just enough coverage.

The outline of the dress with the broad fanfare at the shoulders and the sleek narrow skirt is flattering and sexy.

I chose the Swallowtail Branch necklace that seemed uncannily perfect. The earrings are Paper Couture. I also wore the Branch shoes from Swallowtail. The Diamond Girl makeup from blowpop seems a perfect color with the lovely cream satin.
