I haven’t been a fan of hairbases since I first put on my Lelutka Aria head. I just never felt like I saw a hairbase that didn’t “off” or somehow just fake. Leave it to Lelutka to knock hairbases out of the part with a whole new line of hairstyles that not only look great with the hairbase attached but simply look completely natural.  My friend Gogo has some great shots of all four styles HERE http://juicybomb.com/2016/09/18/everything-is-okay/ .

Freshen It Up

It’s important to freshen up your avatar look from time to time. We switch out our hair willy nilly but sometimes we can forget how nice it can be to update some of the basics – like eyes.

If you haven’t ever tried Banana Banshee eyes, Rose has been around for a while making eyes so she knows what she’s doing. While she doesn’t just make eyes, that’s what I’m talking about today.

I’m trying out her Soul 2 eyes fatpack. She’s got a nice range of blues, from gentle icy blues to children of the corn bright if that’s your thing. She also features pretty greens, browns and even a red for you about to be possessed for Halloween Times. She also features black sclera versions for all you folks who like to role play or just rock a completely different kind of look. I’m wearing her ice blue and I really like it, it’s a pretty but subtle blue and looks very natural.  Continue reading →

I’m Walkin’….Except I’m Not

There are some bloggers who do an amazing job of reflecting a variety of skin tones when sharing new releases from creators. I’m not one of them. I think my instinctual nod would go to Sydd Sinister. There are probably others.

I’m always impressed with the amount of effort it takes to make a gorgeous contact sheet style post showing all the options with a skin or hair release. I decided to shake myself up and choose a totally different skin tone for myself, simply because in Second Life we can be whomever we want. Continue reading →
