I’ve been away for a while as the RL has whisked me off to a new world and a new life but now that I’m settled I decided to hop back onto the grid to see what’s new and exciting.
And then I promptly sat down and couldn’t figure out what to do. Can you believe it? I was stumped. Then I remembered a couple of weeks ago Gogo went over to the Motown build and I decided to go see if it was still there! It is. I don’t know if they’ll be having more events there but they were playing fun tunes and it was cool to walk around and check it out.
I want this car to drive around! Alas this one was just a prop – which is sad. Anyone know where I can get one of these? It’s perfection.
The build is right next to an info hub, so I will tell you it’s got more naked people bonking around that one might expect at a normal build, but it’s still pretty cute.
I got there in time to take in a movie and have some dinner. The chairs were not really very comfy but I can’t complain about a free movie!
I was starving again after the movie so I grabbed another snack. SNACKING IS MY LIFE!!
Let’s talk about the elephant in the room now. Those weird blank lines around my waist on this dress. It’s weird, I know. I don’t even know where I got this dress. I think it was a freebie at some event and so consequently I’m not really gonna complain about a free dress I picked up.
I drank this entire bottle of vodka

Today I set out to do some exploring and found a lovely little restaurant serving amazing treats for those who ventured inside. I grabbed a vanilla shake, not intending to stay long but was soon coerced into making my stay good for lunch too.
I started with my pie rather than my burger. CAN YOU EVEN BLAME ME? I mean look at these servings. I wanted to make sure I got the pie in before I bothered with the burger. a burger is a burger but a pie, man alive a pie is life.
I confess that I did not eat all of either thing but then wandered over to their ice cream offering where not only did I find a cupcake for sale that definitely appealed but then of course there was the question of the ice cream itself. I might die of diabetes at this rate but at least I’ll die happy.
I wandered around a bit and lucked into finding a little farmers market so I grabbed some necessary supplies before heading home. How was your Sunday? I hope it was filled with beautiful things!

I was hungry and decided to go rolling around until i found some free food – which I did in SPADES. YEAH baby free turkey burger. I have to feed this thick body, don’t want her to get skinny.
This spot was really fun, it was a seaside boardwalk area with rides and lots of interactive fun to enjoy. It’s called Dark Dreams and if you’re interested in checking it out – pop over to this spot.
I have to admit, I was pretty obsessed with food and drink while I was there.
But sitting by this ocean view, how can I even be sorry about it? I can’t. Plus I’m really hungry – all the time.
I’m not even sorry. This is dessert and a drink. No, really.
If you’ve never been to Kowloon, you’re missing out on an amazing adventure of a build. It’s celebrating 16 years as a community and I highly recommend it. I come here and wander the alleys, the stairs that sometimes go somewhere awful and sometimes go nowhere. I grab a bite to eat and maybe pick up a black market item or two if it suits me.
Sometimes the blogger in me is just here for the gorgeous vignettes that seem to perfectly suited to photos.
The real world Kowloon is not such a great story.
Much like it’s real life inspiration, it is a place for outlaws and those who would not conform. You can read about it here . It no longer exists, but we can visit this homage on the Grid. This Second Life build is celebrating 16 years!
If you’re a regular, you will know where to find a great spot with lots of amazing local cuisine to enjoy in privacy, away for the squalor of the streets below. It’s probably not even all longpig…

I feel like the entire week has been a disaster. Ever have one of those weeks where everything goes wrong? Luckily Tickle Pink has learned how to make coffee (Tickle Pink is the cat btw). Bringing me a cup of hot coffee carefully is a skill that not many cats have, but whose to say what these magic beasties can do?
It’s not the worst way to start a Thursday. I do wonder though, the person who made this bed, why do they think I need a fork AND a knife to eat my croissants? Have I been doing it wrong all along?
