So today has been an emotional one. A year ago today my sister died after a long battle with cancer. Today, her granddaughter brought her first great-grandchild – an entirely new generation – into the world. Isn’t that magical? She was due last week, but she waited several days to arrive on the most perfect day she could. So forgive me for not describing much, it’s hard to see the screen through tears, though they are more happy ones than sad ones.
I love it when different elements from The Arcade come together like the armor from Fedora and the dragon elements from C L A Vv at June’s Arcade which ends at Friday night. I actually loved the wings from the C L A Vv dragon, but ended up using these from Conflict Angel because I wanted animated wings for my video blog below . I reviewed the second book in an amazing fantasy series, Legends of the First Empire.
Mami Jewell of Azul just released a beautiful limited edition outfit to elicit your inner fairy and feed your fantasies. It is called Pepeké and comes with a very revealing, short shift with wings, and butterflies and gossamer skirts. It is what dreams are made of, femininity, delicacy and romance.
On the other hand, you can drop the fantasy elements and wear it as a loose and very sexy summertime blouse over a pair of pants. I love mixing things up, not wearing things right out of the box, and though mesh makes that more complicated; it is still possible and still a lot of fun.
