After a busy pixel day I came home determined to get into something comfortable and just BE for a while. Maybe read a book or just listen to music and relax. You know those kinds of plans? Where you think if I can just get into something comfortable my day will be restored to peace?
I got in to something comfortable, and relaxed across my bed and that’s where I landed.
Hello lovelies. If you’ve been locked in a cave or trapped under something heavy you may have missed the news that Lelutka is offering a new head for group members, for free. You can pick up a male and female head just for the having, and I do have to admit, I might like this one the best of any I’ve gotten in 2020. It wasn’t hard to get her face in shape for a Gidgey type look either.
How are you decorating for Christmas? Do you buy gifts for your SL friends? I popped over to the ARCADE and pulled levers for gifts for friends which was fun. A cream doggie for Gogo (already gave it – no worries). A Black and Tan doggo for Dancien, something fun and RARE for Kitty. I also grabbed a few delightful hampers for some friends—it was a successful shopping trip, and I couldn’t wait so I already gave some away. I know I’m silly, but still – I love Christmas.
I’m in the middle of decorating my home and I’m using mostly old decor items this year because they are traditional to me and my SLife. Do you have traditions in SL? I like having items I do every year. It makes my SLife have more of a narrative which makes me happy.
We are winding up for the holidays – I bet there have been “Baby it’s Cold Outside” posts already.

Well I’m not the biggest fan of bikinis with my tits hanging out the bottom of them but this bunny bikini from Caboodle was too adorable to pass up this weekend.
My spot of choice for last night was of course over at Rainbow Reef which is my favorite hangout of the moment. It’s really a nice beach with lots of to do and hey – drinks.
I stayed until the sun went down and was rewarded with a headache for it. Too many drinks was the culprit. I suppose it’s alright after all tomorrow’s Sunday – what can I possibly need to do on a Sunday?

It’s spooky season, my favorite time of year. Black cats, spiders, ghosts and ghouls are some of my favorite things so you can imagine my joy on an every day basis as I wander the grid in October.
LOGO gave away a free female and male head (just join the group) recently so I ran over to pick them up (yes both why not) and I have to admit – it’s really rather lovely. I hadn’t been there before.
I stopped by a market Cajsa recommended. It’s a lovely city that is a bloggers paradise. So much to use here for backdrops. It’s called You and ME.
Plus it’s a lovely little city that I am now going to visit regularly – it’s a great place to shop for my grid life.
I spent my shopping trip tweaking this new new Logo head. I did this and that and the everything and I “think” I finally turned her into her Gidgiest self.

Gogo recommended the Halloween Experience over at the MILLBANK sim and I decided that once I had a cup of coffee it was time to get in the spirit. After all – this is one of my FAVORITE times of year on the grid. There is a haunted tour which is delightfully spooky.
It was a lot of fun, but then something weird happened. Right after I crossed over the cemetery…
I passed by this dude and his dog on a foggy street. I assume he lived there? I mean, it’s a street – I guess these are someone’s homes? Spooky people’s homes but homes nonetheless. Anyway, as i float along a walking path I realize that he is running behind me. He’s following me!
WHY? What are you doing ?
He never spoke to me, but he and his big dog essentially chased after me the last 1/3 of the tour, following me like some creepy killer. It was actually unnerving.
It reminded me a lot of the early days of the grid where noobs like me wouldn’t have their lots restricted and people would barge in and threaten you, as though they could do something to you. They couldn’t, but it was scary and weird when it would happen. I’m not sure why this dude was following me or what he was even doing. Maybe I just happened to be taking his favorite dog walking path.
Except dogs in SL don’t ACTUALLY have to be walked.
I’m totally getting my big dog out when I get home. This is some boo sheet.

I have to admit that one of the things I LOVE most about BOM being a thing is my ability to pull out RIDICULOUS things from the beginnings of SL and wear them. SUCH AS – these jeans from Butterfly Island – was that the place or the brand? The brand – was it Coconut Ice? Man I can’t remember….. Oh Butterfly Island, I coveted all your things once upon a time. I bought them, I stalked the lucky chairs, I was a fairy more often than not.
I went back once a couple of years ago or more and was nostalgic and sad for how amazing it used to be – and how it simply had not kept up in the way old stores don’t sometimes.
Thus, I put on my fairy jeans and relive my love of those days when belts were painted on our pants and we thought that was just lovely.
The secret these days, of course, is simply not to move too much in your BOM pants or that waistline slips around like crazy and you look nuts. Thus, I took may photos and tried to find the least nuttiest.
I don’t care. I still love these jeans. Weird painted fairies and all.
Now who wants to help me eat this gummy bear? This thing is ridiculous.

We did it. We got past the midweek hurdle. Personally it was a struggle but I am struggling in general to ever get anything done these days. The ennui or laziness that seems to own me is pervasive. I’m trying to fight it but, the struggle is real.
I probably just need to go shopping.
