So I donned Wishbox’s Shady Grove frock and instantly, without a second’s delay, the Grateful Dead song sprang into my head. “Peaches in the summertime, apples in the fall…” I bought the plum color of this dress because the dual tones look almost ombre from skirt hem to bodice. I’m wearing it with this bow by Lassitude & Ennui, free for the Cafe Hunt… (I found Jackal’s cup in 30 seconds flat.) I’ll see you later, I’m’a go down to shady grove now…

So I’m totally watching Downton Abbey — the first season, catching up. Kala of Material Squirrel is holding a hunt! Fifteen colors of the wings I’m wearing are scattered around her store (which has forever and always in my years of SL been located here), and you can find them if you poke around a lot. I found three different colors, all with the wonderful scripting that makes Kala’s wings so playful, and I’m going back for more riiight…now.

How did you celebrate Christmas? This year I was with family, a full solid day of it. I had fun, but given how loud and raucus my family is, my ears were ringing by the end of it. If you’re anything like me, you’re sitting at your computer with a glass of wine breathing a sigh of relief to play dress-up with your SL dolly. Acha looks cosy today, right? I think my avatar spent a quiet Christmas at home in her skybox, lying around in these super comfy mesh pants from Plastik and a few oversized sweaters, reading Pride and Prejudice. Lucky girl!
