So, I was considering what to wear on this subway. I really didn’t want anything ridiculous revealing. Something I would hope not be accosted in is what I was thinking. I remembered this gorgeous dress Cecelia Petion had posted on Plurk, so I unpacked the Poppy blogger box for June and saw the box inside had a dress named Cajsa. OMG! What could this be? Then when I unpacked it, it was the dress I remembered from Plurk…I just about did handstands. I would have if I had an animation handy. This struck me as the apotheosis of Second Life serendipity. They way things just fall into place.

So I needed something subway suitable because the first short story in Cockfosters takes place on a subway. And yes, I admit it, I read the book because the title amused me. I am adolescent that way.

Speaking of serendipity, how about those sandals from Ingenue at Collabor88 this month. Poppy did not make this dress for Collabor88, yet, could they be more perfect together?

This whole outfit is an ode to serendipity, though I confess, I selected the texture on the headband to make it a bit more peachy than pinky. I didn’t touch the sunglasses though. All at Collabor88.

The Astrology HUD took a bit of figuring out how to use. When you first use it, you put on two huds, the one full of all sorts of colors (it attaches on the right) and the one with spaces for 20 colors (it attaches on the left) Then you select the colors you want on the right, they go into 20 spots. Once you have made your selection. Press the word LOAD near the top on that righthand HUD. It will load the colors into the left hand HUD. Then you only wear that one in the future.

And of course, to add to the serendipity, the LaGyo jewelry not only is a great color match, the tiers of coral echo the idea of the ombre pattern and skirt in the dress. They are at Collabor88 and so is the Glam Affair skin.
