The Whole Is Greater Than the Sum of Its Parts

With fashion, one plus one does not always equal two. For example, what I am wearing today combines two pieces from Liziaah into something new. I think the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. After all, there are three outfits, not two.

I was drawn to both the dress and the top from Liziaah. I noticed they both had similar embellishment, common in a collection where designers seek to find unifying elements. I though they might work together

I simply wore a dress two sizes smaller than the top. It would have been one size except there was a small amount of bleed through at the collar.

I went to Forgotten City. It will close next month, so make sure it is not forgotten by you and go visit this charming place before it leaves us forever.

I wore these fabulous shoes from Garbaggio that are at Collabor88 this month. I know I have worn them three times this month, but in different colors. The thing is, with classic shoes, they work so well so often.

Here you can see why the shoulder pieces from the top and the collar of the dress made me want to bring the two pieces together. The earrings are from Paper Couture and are in shades of brown ombre. I simply edited the top two, adding a grey tint over the brown.

My hair is a new release from Vanity Hair called MoonRiver in honor of one of the great classic movie romances. It is exclusively at Vintage Fair for the moment. The skin is from League, using appliers on a Lelutka mesh head. I used both the Milla and Luna applier to mix the makeups.
