The move is complete, the bags and boxes unpacked and I have settled into a chair to take a last look before crawling into bed.

The nice thing about moving in Second Life is that one does not have to look the part.  I am wearing a mini-dress from 1992 that is the ne plus ultra of hot, sexy modernity. It’s revealing, edgy and definitely “designed” but not at all over-designed. It comes in a solid beige, a solid black or this print – and all can be found at The Dressing Room.

There is something gladiatorial in the straps that keep the short, short triangles of the skirt from flapping immodestly so I opted for doe of the accessories from Collabor88’s  Odyssey theme. These bracelets from Mandala are exactly what I wanted – big statements that don’t waste time on subtlety.

The wedges from Remarkable Oblivion need to be seen to be believed. In white or black, they have straps over the vamp that recall the ancient gladiator uniform.

With skin from Glam Affair and sleek hair from Tableau Vivant – I have all the makings of an ancient goddess – but in a thoroughly modern dress.
