On Project Runway All-Stars this season, Viktor was warned away from his green dress by mentor Zanna Roberts Rassi who told him you never see green on magazine covers because it doesn’t sell. Awww.Poor Viktor only has green so he’s sunk. Green is my favorite color so I had to wonder about that. I realize it is not the easiest color to wear. If your skin has yellow undertones, some greens can make you look jaundiced. Still, it’s just a matter of seeing how you look in the particular shade, a bit of trial and error, and anyone can wear green in one of its many hues. This mint is fresh and springlike, full of new life and optimism. I added a fur wrap from Bliss Couture which is still going out of business. I know it’s been a long closing sale, but on the off chance she shuts the doors soon, you will want to stock up on her fur accents and hats before they are gone forever.
The dress is from Peqe – a long, flowing gown with a simple silhouette for maximum freedom. I liked the bit of fur accent, but it looks great without it as well.
I chose this gorgeous new release from Kunglers for my jewelry. Called Walhalla, it is sort of heavenly, isn’t it? The hair is from D!va for Collabor88 – one of four releases this month, all created for Miss Virtual World contestants.
The skin is PXL Creations – fresh and lovely with pink wind-freshened cheeks. It was a VIP gift in December.

Yes! I like those colors, too. Just about every green is wonderful, I think.
I thought that advice to Viktor about green was odd. Green is also my favorite color – real life and virtual life both. But then I’m a redhead too so maybe it depends on one’s coloring.
I love green, but I do remember this dark sage green dress I tried on in 5th grade. As a blonde in RL, that is not a color I can wear. Turning to look in the mirror, even my hair looked green! So I can see her avoiding green, but the idea that no one likes green is just wrong, wrong, wrong. In my opinion, of course.
