I am not all of sudden adopting a new slang vernacular. Instead, I want to alert you to a stunning jazz album from Roberto Fonseca. The album is called Yo! and fittingly is an exploration of Fonseca’s roots and inspirations. It’s one of my favorite albums of 2013. I hope you take the time to listen. I am certain you will enjoy it.

My dress is from NYU for The Season Story and features the minimalist simplicity we expect from Nyunyu Kimono. With a few spare button tabs at the waist and on the shoulder, Kimono illustrates that minimalism does not mean undesigned. The shape is flattering and with its simplicity of form, you will be wearing the dress. It will not be wearing you. And that is as it should be.

I love blue and brown together, so I added pool-colored pumps from Ingenue (in first photo) and these love wood and larimar earrings from EarthStones. Larimar is one of my favorite stones and I have a few lovely larimar necklaces in real life. However, instead of a necklace, I opted for this sweet knit scarf from Eclective Apparel with a button closure. I like the complementary color and button motifs and had to wear them together.

The skin is from Glam Affair for Collabor88 and the hair is one of Truth’s newest releases – Snow, a graceful, loose undo with a roll on the side that, using the color hud, be highlighted by color tips.
