I have been sticking close to home lately as Second Life has become a crash-monster, freezing my computer if I blinked at it wrong. I finally bit the bullet and bought MacKeeper to easily do some cleanup and maintenance. It was worth it, quickly finding hundreds of unnecessary files clogging up my computer and giving me 20 GB more space. That’s a lot! Best of all, and here I am knocking on pixel wood, it seems to have addressed the crashing problem. To celebrate, I hopped over to Kou! to see the surrealist art there, wearing this gorgeous new top from Zaara that is a work of art in itself.

No, I don’t understand it either. I don’t need to understand to appreciate its quirkiness.

I wore the Priestly Pencil skirt from Gotzsche for faMESHed. It comes in several colors and it a bit shorter than most of the mesh pencil skirts, making it a great addition to your wardrobe. I did have to tweak my shape a bit to get it to fit even though it is standard sized, having to turn my knees a bit knock-kneed – a fairly common tweak with straight skirts. It is lined, so it doesn’t disappear on you when you move, though I would prefer a brown lining to a white one.The shoes are from Baiastice, the Ute mesh pumps, and they have the sexiest stiletto heels.

There are some cool details with the Zaara top worth noting. It’s a combination mesh and system top, with only the sash around the breasts made of mesh. Zaara is known for her details and her texturing, winning grid-wide awards for excellence. You can see that in this top where the shadow of the sash is baked into the top.

Second Life Serendipity was on hand with this new hair from Truth. Called Liberty, it has an adorable bow – repeating a motif in the top and the shoes. Even more serendipitous, even though the bow is texture change, this was the color it was set to out of the box. I added earrings from Auxiliary, the new brand created out of the coming together of Aura and Illusory. They come in several colors and metals and can be found at faMESHed. The necklace is from EarthStones for Collabor88.

The skin is the beautiful Cassiopea from Glam Affair embellished with several tattoo makeups, two from Chelle and one from Amacci.
