Sometimes I wander around the Grid thinking about all the good and bad things that have happened over the years here.  

My friend Grazia recently said I was a glass half full kind of person, and I think that oddly enough I am. I see what’s beautiful, and amazing, I hear the laughter and joy and I know that this isn’t real but it’s fun anyway. Sometimes the drama fest drags me down, like everyone else. But for me anyway, I tend to erupt – WAAAAAAAAAAAAH and then I’m done. I realize it’s trivial and move on.

Sometimes people get so torn up over the “drama” and trivialities that I think they forget that this is supposed to be their “Second” life. That means it’s the carefree one. You are supposed to make up your world. YOUR WORLD. It’s where I don’t have children or a real job or a dirty house (ok that’s a lie I have boxes everywhere). I don’t have sore feet or anything else.

I want to encourage you, on this Monday, to find what’s beautiful in your Second Life. Be who you are, if that’s a robot or an blob of goo, and go out and just BE HAPPY. Why log in if you aren’t?

I think that we all need to wade into the water and be happy like kids again, have fun and remember that we like each other.

Or at least, I like you.
