Gidge and I threw an impromptu just-because party last night. I put together a Rockabilly set and invited folks for a night of fun rockabilly music. I tossed this together using a dress for the top and some capris from artilleri – the home of all things rockabilly.
I was going to wear a different pair of shoes, but when I did a search for Leopard, these showed up. I don’t remember getting them, but they really rocked my look. From LaPoint and Bastchild, they are from last year so they have alpha, not invisiprims. I love the straps and buckles that give them a bit of biker badass quality.
These capris from Artilleri are so hot. I generally don’t like capris as they often cut up your legs, making them look short and stumpy, but with the notched hem, your legs are lengthened again. Besides, they really flatter all your ASSets. In fact, Gidge was wearing the same pants in yellow and they looked so hot that someone shot a pic of just her ass and we put it on a 25 by 25 prim to decorate the dance area.
And I finally had a reason to wear the marvelous ZsaZsa necklace and earrings from Donna Flora. Now, I know the trend in fashion is to avoid all matching accessories, but this is Rockabilly – a style that studiously avoids current trends and is unabashed in its choices.
The skin is from Baiastice – a brand new release called Nico. The hair I have worn a few times – a fun and wild updo from Boon.
