When we decided to shoot a group photo for the New Year, the only rule was to wear something black. I had seen this in the Baiastice holiday collection so choosing what to wear took no time at all. I love its form-fitting shapeliness coupled with the sexy, center panel. It’s also a super comfortable dress for New Year’s Eve activities from dancing, partying to the family tradition of making sure the house is spotless for the coming new year. Thankfully there’s no oven in my SL home to clean.

My shoes are from Maitreya – her newest shoe release called Alexa. These are mesh shoes and come in several families of colors. I chose the neutrals for maximum flexibility.

I spent some time over at BooN, drooling away at the new hair styles. I love this short and sassy cut. I always get a bit of a laugh when I buy hair at Boon because they package the red hair with the pink and green – their set of crazy, unnatural colors.

For makeup, I opted for ultra-dramatic, ultra-chic, ultra-glam with the eye shadow an entire conflagration beyond smokey and bright, fire-engine red lipstick. It’s from the new release at Glam Affair called Linn, a lovely new skin line with several dramatic makeups.
