Once upon a time, I worked in an office with a very strict dress code. The only exception being Fridays – when you could freely where jeans and sweats or whatever slag-wear you had handy at the foot of the bed.

Funnily enough, it was after a night of carousing and with a terrible hangover, that one Friday I learned that the most important interview of my LIFE, the one that would set my career into motion, was to take place in an hour.

I was not dressed for it.

My longtime friend who sat next to me was wearing a jumpsuit nearly identical to the one you see me in above. We made a quick dash to the ladies room and began tossing our clothes over the stalls to one another, as I put on her carefully planned DATE NIGHT outfit.

The only thing to do next was of course hair and makeup. The hair wasn’t really fixable so a quick french twist and it looked presentable but the makeup required we go to the department tacklebox of makeup samples. Everyone brought in their gifts with purchase or sample sizes and we kept a sizeable box of makeup solutions for any emergency.

Did I mention this was the fashion industry? Did I mention that we were located directly next to the IT department which was full of single guys making a good salary? ‘Twas. Thus, makeup emergencies WERE REAL!

It was really my first thought, upon seeing the lipstick makeups from Baiastice called “GUEST LIPSTICKS” that these were exactly that. They’re not “your” shade but man do you look more polished with some color.

I didn’t shoot all of the colors, these are just a few splashes of lipstick color fun.

Lipsticks tend to be the most dodgy to me, when getting tattoo makeups. They can look like ASS if done poorly. I find that so many look like wax lips. Mostly I prefer tattoo makeups done by skinners such as these (but not ALWAYS – you gotta experiment!)

I’m also taking for a stroll the MILA eyeshadows by Baiastice. I love the gold and silver tones (middle and far right)

Many of these tones are peacock bold and not for the shy but I love them. It’s all about personal preference. More subtle versions of these bright colors are avail. I just wasn’t in a subtle mood!
