Vogue made me happy by telling me that plaids are in this season. Of course, I could have told them that plaids should always be in, but that’s another story. Seriously though, can something as beautiful as this gorgeous full-length plaid taffeta skirt from Casa del Shai ever be anything but in? If this be plaid, give me more!

I shot this set at Alpha Point – a sim I discovered linguistically. I have shot many times at Omega Point. I don’t know why it took me this long to wonder whether there being an Omega meant there was an Alpha, but it did. I did a search and there it was. Alpha and Omega – should have known long ago.

Here you get the full view of Shai’s Autumn Plaid Ball Gown. There’s so many details that I love from the stunningly modern pairing of the animal print bodice with the plaid taffeta to the stunningly modern to the elements of the savage shown in the edging of the bodice and the post-apocalyptic Mad Max forms of the belt and neck collar. This balancing of contrasts give the gown a dynamism that cannot be resisted.

The neckpiece comes with the dress and is part of that bold balancing act that says this is a new, bolder Shai Delacroix at the sketch pad. The hair is Midori, a recent Truth release.

The skin is one of my favorites – Dafne from PXL Creations. I love the delicacy and refinement in the facial features and makeups. The earrings are from Paper Couture.
