I could never wear anything more gleefully than a big pink ballgown. Wait -it’s got a HAT? It’s got a PARASOL?!?!?!?
Sign me up. It’s so springy-fun and foofoo that I just couldn’t resist choosing the pink to show you out of the rainbow of colors that Sascha Frangilli offers it in. It’s rather modest in the black and differently exuberant in the other colors but in the pink, it says OHAI I’m a Barbie Doll and I’m ok with that.
And I am.
As always, this gown comes in multiple skirt options which means buy purchasing one gown, you get several which can fit different occasions. The big old battleship skirt just doesn’t work everywhere but you never know, you MIGHT need it one day!
The short version, appropriate for a more casual day time event is still a confection and perfect for the spring soirees that are soon to be filling up your calendar.
As always, I love Sascha’s designs because they are playful and so much fun. I just gobble them up when they arrive and can’t wait to try them on. If you haven’t been to Sascha’s lately, with Valentine’s coming up – I highly recommend it. Her store is a feast of pink and red gowns that you are guaranteed to find something amazing at!

When I read your second paragraph, this came into my head and stayed throughout:
Little Bunny Foo Foo,
Hopping through the forest
Scooping up the field mice
And boppin’ ’em on the head
Probably with the umbrella.
