These new strawberry themed dishes at The Liason event from Bliensen + Maitai have caught my fancy. They’re so cute. They put me in mind of a set of dishes my grandmother had that were all pineapples. I always loved them and wanted to have a party using them, but they’re lost to the sands of time.
So these Strawberry dishes will have to serve as a wonderful surrogate.
I decided to do some appropriate meal prepping for the next week in order to try to reduce my nonstop crap food eating. I’m getting a little more thicc in this life than I care for. Some avatars pull it off beautifully but alas it’s just not me. I’ll be in awe of their beauty and sadly eat my vegetable soup over here.

Good Morning lovelies. I have a delicious cup of hot coffee and it’s a great day. I love waking up on Bellisseria, I have to admit I’m going to be hard pressed to ever leave this spot. It’s a perfect, peaceful little world here and I’m eternally grateful for it. I have been strongly considering changing my house to a different model, but then that sounds like SO MUCH WORK I don’t know that I can be bothered. Do you ever get like that? I after all, it’s Sunday and I don’t want to DO anything I just want to luxuriate in the beach worlds of the grid.
And where better to do that than over at Rainbow Reef? I haven’t logged in for a couple of weeks and I’ve missed the free drinks and gorgeous views, not to mention the surfing and general great vibe of the place.
Take my keys, I can’t drive home.
I threw on a crown and headed over. I hope my favorite bartender is working. I’m planning to make it a long, lazy afternoon of cold beverages and sun. Could there be a better Sunday? Maybe, but I’m too tired today to think of anything that would top it.

I popped over to this London sim that is on the Destination Guide but found it gutted with divas striking poses all over the faux English square. Can’t so much as get a shot of a double decker bus without someone else there shooting – and truly – good for them.
I think it’s fun that the destination guide draws folks to places so we can experience what is lovely – it’s rather lovely to celebrate someone’s work this way!
Since I am here, there is no reason not to celebrate their success with a sweet – don’t you agree? I can’t decide between cupcake and macaron, however.
You might notice that I’m wearing the same hair again. Ever just FALL IN LOVE with a hair? Well that’s where I am. I decree all of Kavar’s hair has to be this amazing going forward – the bar has been set. This is so perfect. I don’t want to stop wearing it.

People seem to be VERY torn about the new Linden home theme CHALETS so I decided to go give them a look-see after Gogo posted the demo area SLURL on Plurk.
I admit I’m a dedicated Bellisserite. Bellissarian ? Regardless, I love my Linden home. I love the gorgeously landscaped neighborhoods and the beautiful homes. I’m still in a Victorian, loathe to give up my amazing beach spot. Might not give it up – we’ll just see won’t we.
So the theme seems to be a sort of a Dutch happening, with windmills and tulips. This demo area is a little sparse – maybe I’m spoiled with the AMAZING lush areas they built for Victorians and Traditional? Or perhaps I’m being picky as this is just a demo. I’ll assume that’s the case.
They had a bit of a brewfest park set up. I’m not sure if this would be part of the outdoor design. I would say that if it is – the beers should give me a beer. Don’t tease me with beer. That’s just unkind. Also these beers are nuts – way more than this pixel girl can drink.
My quibbles with this style are small. I’m unsure of the color schemes. They just don’t do it for me. Maybe they do it for you? That’s cool if so. One thing I do like in the various models I walked are the big open rooms with nice space for camming around. I HATE SMALL ROOMS where I am always struggling to see. Nice job moles.
This is my favorite model. Windows, windows, windows. The one quibble I’ve had with all my Linden homes is either that the windows suck OR they aren’t facing what is beautiful where I live. Such as I live on the beach, the ocean is behind me. I want to see the beach, but the windows at the back of my house SUCK.

This one meets my needs of great open rooms and wonderful windows. Very cute. The color is eh, but maybe the choices would spruce it up?
It was an interesting jaunt around the chalets. They aren’t for me, but I think it’s cool that they are really creating lots of different styles to appeal to everyone. But now that I’m back on Bellisseria I’ve decided to tool around and decide if I want to pull out a different house model for a while. I’ve been in this 1 story for a while. Who knows?
I’ve done a bit of wandering today. I couldn’t figure out why I was only bringing up some really lame locations from search. I love to just search random terms and see where I end up. It turns out my search wasn’t logged in properly and I was only bringing up G rated locations. There are so many amazing builds across the grid, I never know where I’m going to end up. This little shanty town offered a lovely waterfront view as well as some snacks and games.
It looks like amphibious plane is the best way to get here if you can’t teleport in. Adventure abounds in this spot.
I’ve had such a good time exploring this location. I love this bird. I kinda want it.

Over at Rainbow Reef – the best beach in SL – I discovered an Ice Cream truck today and quite frankly I couldn’t be ANY happier. I’m a glutton, I’m not even sorry. I’ll traverse the scariest of builds to eat new or pretty foods and frankly – this one is a pretty treat in a beautiful place. Double win.
I picked up a cute new bikini at the Saturday Sale this morning so I’m feeling pretty set for my Saturday. Grabbed this hair from MINA too.

My beloved cousin Ghanima Uriza messaged me the other day after a long absence. She has started to dip her toe into the world of mesh and I guess I had not realized how long she’d been gone – the pixel world has changed so much since the last time we were able to chat.
She’s back at work creating her beautifully hand-painted textures that were the HALLMARK of Blueblood back in the heyday. I am so excited to get to share a little something she’s been working on.
It was so lovely to chat with her, to talk about our lives and how we are both in such a different place how with regards to how we embrace Grid Life. Neither of us are willing to allow it to run us anymore, instead we are excited to get to participate in the things we love on our own terms. For me it’s blogging, for her it’s creating.
I have to say, I’m excited to have another Uriza cousin back on the grid. We’re a rare breed.
