I thought missing you would break me. I had no idea of standing on these streets without you. Yet there I was. Solitary, intentionally so. Nothing ended up how it should have, nothing ended up right. But I had to make a choice to keep going and so I did.

I went to your street and stared at where you were. There was never supposed to be this distance, this separation. It’s inconceivable that I can’t call you or speak to you, yet that’s what it’s come to.

I went to a place where you wouldn’t take me because – at least I assume this is the reason, you didn’t want to be seen with me. You said the food was terrible but you told nothing but lies so really, I knew that had to be the opposite.

It was, the food was quite good.

That adage applies here, when people show you how they feel about you – believe them.
