I had a hard time deciding what to put on today, and I might have to change again because I have more gowns than I have social occasions. This gown from MIAMAI fit exactly what I was looking for in elegant when I thought of NYE this morning.

It’s difficult not to love a gorgeously made column dress. I think the shading on this release is subtle and perfectly placed to hint at curves and the fabrics stretch – Monica always does an amazing job on her gowns.

I’ve opted for silver as my theme thus far today, with jewelry from DONNA FLORA which you can still get if you’re inclined at the main shop, and a vintage ring from Dark Mouse that I still adore.

2013 was a good year. Despite what was lost, and what changed, I wouldn’t put one foot differently.

Bring me 2014 – I am ready.
