I have made the Arcade Yard Sale rounds and I have to say, I’ve very nearly got everything I want. I’m not THAT needy, I don’t have to have them ALL of anything, and there are some rares that elude me. I won’t pay much more than pull price though – so you see, it’s tough for me to complete a set because so many people jack up the prices so high.

For instance, the chair for the amazing Apple Fall set.

I had to have it, or most of it – simply because of the table. My family owned a fishing lodge in northern Minneosta in the 40s through the 70s. In the lodge were about 100 tables for guests to sit at – all of which look exactly like the one created for Arcade by Apple Fall. When the lodge closed, the entire family went and pillaged furniture before everything went to auction. EVERYONE in my family got one of these tables. My family eats dinner at one every night (I got my grandmother’s). Ours all have the possibility of opening out with a leaf, but they’re the same otherwise.

The Chair that goes with this set however, is elusive. Oh I’ve seen one – for 1500 lindens.

Nope. I’ll either find a different chair or I’ll find one from someone who isn’t trying to rob me. It isn’t the last chair. It wasn’t carved from the one true cross. I can see marking up rares a bit. But more than TRIPLE your pull price and I kind of think you’re an asshole. Sorry. I don’t CARE if someone will pay it. You’re still an asshole.

Now, moving on.

I’m mixing old and new Arcade items in my kitchen. Honestly I’ve got so much kitchen/baking stuff now, I can’t decide WHAT to put out and what NOT to put out. Despite my earlier rant – OMG I love the Arcade. People make such LOVELY things to make this digital existence a life 🙂 I adore it.

I also am excited because it’s Fameshed time and Baiastice & LaRoo are making me pretty today. I wanted to not look like a slag while I was skating from sale to sale and this casual cute skirt and jacket combo Baiastice released is perfect. I’m wearing new shoes from LaRoo and I have to give another hat tip because I do love how easy these are to match to my skin.

Super practical for walking shoes too. My feet never hurt ONCE while shopping!

You TRUTH Groupies probably already know but he’s released a group gift that a perfect holiday Up Do for parties and events. Or as you can see, for shopping yard sales.
