Maybe the best part of Thanksgiving is just unwinding and chatting with your friends. I rarely have folks over and we’ve decided that needs to change! We need more visiting and more socialization not less.
Maybe we will all work on that for 2018 eh? Who knows what we will get up to.

It was Thoreau who referred to his Thanksgiving as being perpetual. I think it’s meant to point out we should really always be glad for what is good in our lives. I try to be. There might be a little confusion regarding my level of leisure around these parts because of the recent article in The Atlantic where I was mentioned. It was a lot of fun to be a part of the project and I really did enjoy it. But I do think the author didn’t really understand that a blogger WORKS around these parts.
