Zaara at Collabor88

“Pure, intense emotions. It’s not about design. It’s about feelings.” — Alber Elba

Zaara released a wonderful three-part outfit at Collabor88 this month. I always prefer it when designers release their outfits as separates. This allows us to wear the tops with other skirts, shorts, or jeans. We can wear different tops, even sweaters, with the skirt. To top it all off, there is this beautiful belt that is a perfect complement to the skirt, but I can picture looking fabulous on a sweater or body-con dress.

Zaara’s Ziya tiered skirts are sold in sets of two, a solid and a print. Both the Ziya skirts and the Anisha tops come in a full spectrum of colors. The Boho wrap belts come in several colors too, with gold and silver options. The variety of colors and prints are joyful, the entire set is like a joy booster shot.

I dug out these Zaara Sachi sandals that I knew were hiding somewhere in my closet. They were released a few months back by Zaara and fit right in, not just with the colors, but with the entire bohemian essence of the outfit.

This picture shows you the lovely open back of Zaara’s Anisha top and the wild disarray of the Monso Hayeong hair for Collabor88. The hair is messy and casual and exactly what I wanted for this casual outfit.

When the hair from Monso is such a perfect complement to the blouse from Zaara, I always wonder if it came about because of serendipity or cooperation. Collabor88’s monthly theme create the synergistic inspiration that make moments of serendipity more likely. That is one of the reasons Collabor88 remains fresh and exciting, month after month for so many years, while other showcases come and go.

Glam Affair released a new Lelutka Mesh applier called Debby at Collabor88 as well. She stands out with her bold eyebrows. Glam Affair also released a slew of lip colors at Collabor88. After applying the lipstick, I toned it down using my Lelutka HUD. While they were released for Debby, don’t forget you can mix and match all you like. For example, after applying the Debby skin and lips, I dug out Glam Affair’s Stella applier and added that eye liner. The nails were painted by La Boheme, an old mani-pedi I had in my closet.
