I love this quote from the book I just finished reading, Welcome to Braggsville. It has the virtue of being funny and true. Like a road trip, you don’t always know the destination in a relationship, you surely do not know what you will encounter and a few bugs will get splattered on the way. And of course, you usually keep going, though maybe sometimes you should take the off-ramp.

For my road trip, I wore the fabulous spy pants and top from ISON. I love the simple form that is made interesting with great design details such as the cutouts on the top and the fabulous graphic overlay on the pants.

The N-Core NIKA heels have me ready for any bugs.

I love the fedora and hair from Olive. It all comes together with the Deorum set of necklace, earrings, ring and bracelet from Kunglers. The ISON set has a coordination neck piece, but its curves were so similar to the curve of the hair. I wanted a contrast instead.

The hair has a casual nonchalance that I love. The makeup is from Glam Affair’s Clara applicator. I added the Kiya lashes from Lelutka because SL was being obnoxious and would only rez half my lashes that are part of the mesh head. It’s not a flaw in the head because they have razzed dozens of times since I wear this head almost all the time. It was just SL being weirdly cranky and re-logging and fussing and so on did nothing to change it. Thankfully, as is often the case in SL, when one method does not work, you can often find another option.
