For reasons I cannot properly explain I was compelled to try out some various AOs from Marketplace the other day. I decided that given the fact that decent AOs can be expensive AF that maybe, maybe I’d find a gem or two on MP. You never know.
For today’s experiment I’m not using vids – which I should have but RL is making it impossible ATM so I think I will experiment with shooting short vids of the AOs next time around and if so I’ll include this one.
I’m starting out with THIS ONE – MIA PRIMA.
Let’s start with things that are good:
This shit is free. It would have to be pretty fucking wonky to be bad at that point. But in addition to being free, it’s got some REALLY nice features.
- It’s got some emote features which if you aren’t on a mesh head like moi, is fun.
- It’s got dances built in, you can invite folks and add dances easily
- – With Humanize you can play quickly animations such as Applause, Drink, Smoke, Guitar play, etc. enabling you to act more natural or funny. Simply click the Humanize button on the AO and choose the desired animation.
When you choose an animation the Humanize button will flash. If the animation is not looped, it will stop automatically. If the animation is looped, the button will continue to flash - It includes a little “file your nails” attachment
- The walk is a sexy little swishy walk, very acceptable.
- You can sit easily
- It’s easy to customize and add items.
Some things I am net neutral on as I’m sure it wasn’t designed for mesh bodies or CURVY mesh bodies (I’m wearing HOURGLASS today) is that it puts your arms in your boobs occasionally.
I am not gonna fault the creator – I don’t think it’s realistic, given these hooters, to expect that not to happen. This is more of a note – don’t be pissed that something you got for free doesn’t work for a body it wasn’t designed for. Don’t be that person. Nobody likes that person.
In the great cycle of standing around animations they’re all pretty good, despite boob or hip intersections. Mostly natural, a bit jumpy between a few but again – it’s free and it’s not THAT bad.
There is one animation though – I’ve got to figure out how to delete it because that the holy fuck is this?
My hip is literally rotated OUT of the socket and twisted around wonky.
That is fucking nuts. Absolutely fucking nuts.
I’d say in the normal course of events, had you paid for this AO you’d be right to be pissed as HELL however, you didn’t. So hush. I’ll figure out how to delete it or something. Or I’ll keep wearing it as I am at the moment, and have a bit of a laugh when it happens.
All in all, I really give this FREE AO a B. The one wonky animation is pretty bad, but the rest of it is actually quite nice. I’d BUY one from this person (making sure said wonky anim wasn’t included of course). It’s not a bad pick up for your ALT or just to have something different for YOU.
Different is fun!
