In just two hours (Noon SLT), the Truth Sim’s big sales event begins when many of the District’s fabulous stores will be selling selected items at 50% off. I took a look at the store directory and think it’s going to be a shopaganza this weekend. The thing is, this sales is for Truth District Update Group members only. You must join the group in order to go and you can join for free until Noon SLT when the event opens to the public. After that, there will be a fee, so join by noon!
The top I am wearing is from Whippet & Buck and comes in several colors. The shoes are from Nardcotix and are so adorably cute that they are worth the slightly more difficult than usual skin-matching HUD. I like the little RGB or HSL windows that I can click up or down by numbers because my aim when clicking on the color window is never the best. The pants are from Chantkare and have a beautifully proportioned paper-bag waist. They’re from her fall collection that she released last week and are not part of the sales event.
That gorgeous hair is Magenta from Truth and won’t be half off, but is still irresistible. The skin is from Curio for the sale as is the jewelry from League. League has never popped into my head when thinking jewelry before, but looking at this set, which comes with different metals, they will in the future. Here, you can see more details in the delicately tatted collar. I know it says crochet, but that’s tatting. Lace-making and particularly tatting is my hobby. You might laugh at how I came to choose tatting, but if you have siblings you will understand. I have this one sister whose talent is so amazing, that she excels at everything she does. She did macrame and soon was featured in macrame pattern books. She took up hardanger and was featured in Nordic Needle publications. She took up rosemaling and has her pieces in the national museum. And then I had two other sisters who were very talented as well at crochet, knitting, embroidery and so on before I even thought about hobbies. So, I looked for something none of them had ever done and made them promise not to do it. Yes, I chose my hobby by sibling insecurities, I admit it.
