The Flu

I thought I might show you why my posting has been so erratic lately. I caught the flu and have been struggling with it for a month now – hoping to get well enough to be able to spend more time online again. However, I hope with lots of sleep and chicken soup I will back to normal soon. Meanwhile, I found this completely wearable The Flu outfit at GiftHorse.  One case of The Flu is 50L, but if you want to give a lot of your friends The Flu, it is sold in six-packs for 250L.

There are several pieces. The main element is the chair, table and shoulder blanket all in one piece. You wear it and, turning off your AO, you will be comfortably ensconced in this chair. You can add other pieces including a lap blanket, hot tea or chicken soup, a kleenex for sneezing and thermometer to measure exactly how sick you are. There are also sneeze gestures included.

The nerdarrific Lizzie from Truth is perfect sick hair. You need to control it so it doesn’t get too snarled from sleeping all the time and from the blanket, but you also need it to be comfy. That’s Lizzie! The thermals are important to keep warm and are from lurvebite.

That thermometer says it’s time to crawl back under the covers.

Isn’t that just the best wearable prop? I love mine. It was cycling in the lucky chair out front of the shop many months ago. Not sure if it is still there from time to time.

Hope you get well soon. When I did my post on this I was completely healthy. Imagine it isn’t really as much fun when you actually HAVE the flu.

    Cheers.

Fantastic photos…but I’ll pass on the flu. And the Flu (grin). Really, though, I hope you’re feeling better soon; I didn’t think this stuff would be so grippy, but Kit, my other half, says that any kind of flu can do that to you, especially if you push yourself too hard too fast.
