Have you been to Digit Darkes‘ new build at Addictive? I first heard her talk about her plans at a taping of Fabulous Fashion TV and have been eagerly waiting for it ever since. It’s a black and white sim build with lots of little hidden pleasures like a downed plane in a ravine – a fashionista’s downed plane going by the amount of makeup in the wreckage. I was so excited to see the build that I didn’t think that the best manners would be to shoot my first outfit there with one of the Digit Darkes dresses I picked up while exploring. Instead, I shot what I was wearing and am going to show it to you anyway because it’s so delightful and very well made – the intrepidly short Tender Blossoms cheongsam from Musashi-Do.
I wore the always gorgeous Adam n Eve Seductress shoes and happily wore the Milk Motion Alice skin that has such luminous skin and gorgeous legs. This is a dress for gorgeous legs!!! Incidentally, I am wearing Blacklace lingerie underneath as the designer, Shiryu Musashi, wants us to be able to enjoy our delightful lingerie and wants to encourage wearing it by making glitch pants that require lingerie. Yay for lingerie!
The Tatum hairstyle from fri.day is a lovely loose casual updo that has a thoroughly modern feel while evoking different eras and hairstyles depending on how it’s worn. With a retro pop art mini or pencil skirt it could evoke the 1960’s beehive, with this Asian cheongsam it makes one think of an elaborate geisha updo. It’s a clever and contemporary style with a lot of flexibility.
Tender Blossoms comes in several colors – and as short as it is, could easily be worn over pants or with leggings and a jacket. This is a keeper to mix and match.
