Going for the Gold

This is one of those dresses that really fool you. You see it in the vendor and think, cute, I like it.  If you are a fashion addict like me, you might buy it and that’s when the fun begins, because you see, this is one of those dresses that needs to be taken out of the box, shaken, stirred and walked about  in.  in a static photo, it’s cute. On a moving avatar, it’s stunning. It’s very kinetic – alive with movement and sparkle. I really recommend Raeva’s have store models when the difference between the photos and the reality is this startling.

For this dress, I chose R2’s open-toed slingback in gold. I love their gold color, rich but not brassy. A regular gold pump would look good, too, but the more delicate design seems to better suit the fringy fripperty that is this dress.

The earrings and necklace are from Dark Mouse – part of a reviewe pack. I liked the delicate design and meticulous construction. Again, the gold texture is realistic, never too bright and brassy. I thought it set off the dress beautifully. The hair is from a review pack of new Lucky Chair items at Diversity Hair. Guys, listen up, this one’s for you. A men’s hair style named Connal, this is a lovely ginger red and really irresistable. Yes, I know it’s men’s hair. I like it.  I think men should take a good look at some of the short and medium women’s styles, some would suit them very well. Anyway, the lucky chair won’t test for gender, so if you like it…go get lucky.
