The first post showed you the lobby, the portfolio room and my office – all rather presentable work spaces – nothing like the messy and always busy work room. Not only are there four working photographers using the space, but we have frequent self-help photographers, mostly bloggers and content creators. We have even had photographers from other studios borrow the equipment for a night or two while working out some performance issue or another. To dress it up a bit, I decided to wear the other half of the Cachet outfit (the pants in Pt. 1) which consists of a a shiny silk top and skirt with delicate gold fans like seed pods. With the skirt you can see the marvelous Marie shoes from Tesla. Behind me, you can see the shelves of pose balls and pose props that are strewn across the east end of the studio, convenient to the photospheres.
We keep a photolite on each sphere and at every studio we have so people can do the effects, lights and such that they like. Behind me is our super high-tech gear, the wooden box. We often position it and ask clients to look at the box to give them some eye control. (Yes, I know PhotoLite has these super-duper gaze points. My general rule of thumb for technology is this: If I need directions, I am not interested. It’s not as intuitive as an antidirectionist like me can deal with, but some folks love it.) Also, sometimes I will perch on the box in order to prevent any movement on my part when swooping around and zooming in for closeups. Again, more shelves of poses – not pretty as a photo background, but they do their job and get a real workout.
At the far end of the work room we have a bunch of couches for folks to hang out waiting for friends – though the waiters usually wait really close so they can see more. Mostly, though it gets used for music sessions when Maht will play some of his RL music or do a special playlist featuring one musician. As you can see I kept the earrings – but lost the necklace, a sacrifice for the collar. Of course, my perenniel wish is for designers to provide two identical prims – one for each attachment point.
