What makes your avatar’s world complete? Is it the perfect shoes? Perfect hair? What do you need in SL to say YES now I’m living here?
Often for me it’s silly things from RC Cluster that make me feel like I’m really living in SL rather than playing dolls. For instance, here I am getting ready and doing my hair. Slathering on the hair spray like I know I need to do. Continue reading →
I don’t have any plans in SL this NYE. I have a new roombah with a cat/dragon on it vacuuming (thank you SO MUCH) around my house and New Year’s Rockin Eve on the TV and that’s going to have to be good enough for me to close the year. When I wake up tomorrow it’s a new year. That’s always such an odd feeling, a year has passed. How did that happen?
I have to make some adjustments to my SL for 2015 and to my RL but they aren’t RESOLUTIONS. Resolutions always feel false to me. These are more, life changes that I’ve just been putting off because I’m lazy. Not the same at all. I may continue to put them off for a while. We’ll see. Continue reading →
Baiastice is always on my short list for gowns/dresses when someone needs ideas of what to wear for special events. NYE in SL should be a time to SPLURGE and get that one dress that he/she/your robot/your cthulu/your hamster/whatever it is you’re into won’t forget. I’ve got just a few selections in this post that I think are outstanding for NYE especially if you like fitted, current looks. Continue reading →
Everyone has their own method for naming their products in Second Life. I tend to go to the WORD OF THE DAY from OXFORD or WEBSTER. Sometimes folks on PLURK will head over there and say “HELP ME NAME THIS PRODUCT.” That happened on the 29th, as I sat in McDonalds. Lindsey Warwick sent up the call for help naming a new pair of shoes.
I was sitting in McDonalds. I took a look at my receipt, and answered her with the first word I saw. VALIDATION. YAY ME SHE LIKED IT! Continue reading →
I don’t think I’ve actually ever personally experienced the FOOD COMA (or EATERS COMA) that some people get, especially on holidays like Thanksgiving. Eating that much simply makes me nauseous.
Luckily, in SL I was able to experience Eaters Coma for the first time with no ill effects, as it’s a quirky named hair store I’m trying out for the first time. I’ve been aware of them for some time, but maybe just my fear of the RL food coma kept me away. /slaps head. OH WHAT A FOOL I HAVE BEEN! HAIR FAIR 2014 is such a great place to try out new to you creators, every year I fall in love with someone new. Continue reading →
