Everyone has their own method for naming their products in Second Life. I tend to go to the WORD OF THE DAY from OXFORD or WEBSTER. Sometimes folks on PLURK will head over there and say “HELP ME NAME THIS PRODUCT.” That happened on the 29th, as I sat in McDonalds. Lindsey Warwick sent up the call for help naming a new pair of shoes.
I was sitting in McDonalds. I took a look at my receipt, and answered her with the first word I saw. VALIDATION. YAY ME SHE LIKED IT! Continue reading →
I don’t think I’ve actually ever personally experienced the FOOD COMA (or EATERS COMA) that some people get, especially on holidays like Thanksgiving. Eating that much simply makes me nauseous.
Luckily, in SL I was able to experience Eaters Coma for the first time with no ill effects, as it’s a quirky named hair store I’m trying out for the first time. I had a little free time so I decided to hit the road for the Holiday Home Tour this weekend (Contact Tymmerie Thorne for a NC of Slurls ASAP! It’s only today and tomorrow!). It was a gorgeous winter day to get out and I managed to get through three lovely homes before I had to get home to relieve the sitter. Continue reading →
I invited Gogolita over to play WAR and eat cakes last night. The Liason Collaborative’s THE GARDEN is opening up today and Cory Edo of Trompe Loeil has released a Vintage Diner style kitchenette that’s adorable. Continue reading →
The lovely button-front shirt is from Kunglers. The jeans are from The Plastik, they come in more colors and prints than I can count. I suppose the lyric is maudlin, but Mother’s Day is a hard day for me. I miss her every day, but some days are harder than others.
