My first thought today was to find some sort of horrible St Patrick’s Day nightmare and blog it as though I thought it were fitting.
But hell I’ve done that for almost a decade so I decide nah, let it go finally. I mean it’s not like Shamrock Pasties and butt plugs are in short supply on Marketplace, if one is so inclined. Yet I just wasn’t feeling it.
I guess I’m just in a “Let me stand in front of this giant bear holding an umbrella” sort of mood. What can I say? Continue reading →
Thalia Heckroth™ has made minimalism and simplicity her design signature. But just as Doris Janzen Longacre was correct when talking about simple living not being simple, minimalist design is just as deceptively complex. Embellishment is easy, structure is hard. Look at the structure on this gorgeously simple dress. Look at the bodice and the way the sleeves are inset. This is a deceptive form of simplicity that is the hallmark of good design. I decided to go for pink, out of the many color choices this dress comes in. I was tired. Pink wakes me up.
Altair’s dress for Collabor88 is as flirty as it can be. It comes in a range of colors and with a HUD to change the colors of the bow and the ribbon at the babydoll waist and the hem. I chose pink because pink makes things pretty.
I woke up this morning and decided I desperately needed to see new things in my SL so I ran off to LEA to expand my mind and appreciation of beauty. The place I ended up was LEA 16 and you ride a little space ship (or a fancy space ship as you like) through multiple builds which are a play of light, objects and motion. It was truly a perfect was kick start my day.
I am showing off lots of new goodies this morning also so let’s walk through those. My clothes are from that awesome new shop POPPY and I know I’ve mentioned it before. They are OPEN now as of today. You can get to POPPY riding this wild slurl. They are lovely pieces that are out thus far and you’re going to want to check it out. Continue reading →
I picked up the LUXEBOX this month and had to log in before my typist ran off to the RL to check out what was in it. So far my best love is this flawless top from Azuchi which fits perfectly over the pants they released for UBER. It comes in five colors in the box and is a great staple piece for your spring wardrobe.
I haven’t peeked at the rest of the offerings yet because it was telling me I was clicking too fast to get my goodies and ain’t nobody got time to wait like all that. (Okay I know scripts yadda yadda I understand, I just don’t have patience this early).
I’m looking forward to opening the rest in a bit.
Happy Wednesday girls!

Gizza released a gorgeous formal gown at The Liaison Collaborative. It comes in rich jewel tones, deeply saturated colors such as this rich ruby red. It has a full, flowering skirt that falls deeply in the back. These skirts are sometimes controversial. Sometimes they are a failure, but when well done, they are beautiful, flashing your legs while still providing the length of formal wear. I kind of think we should name them by how well they work. Hi-lo or waterfall skirts if they work and mullet skirts if they do not.
How does it work? You go to the mainstore and click the redelivery terminal and the update will be sent to you. If you bought the multipack, you will get the whole shebang, the dynamic hands, the idle HUD, and a fifteen pose HUD of static poses. If you bought the mini packs 1, 2, or 3, you will get the dynamic hands, the idle HUD and the static poses that match the set you already bought. If you bought individual hands, you will get the hands and the pose you purchased. You can buy the idle animations separately. All come with stiletto nails to offer nail length/shape options. It’s a beautiful sunny day in Gidgewood, so I popped across the river to Gidge’s back forty and settled under Trompe Loeil’s marvelous outdoor hangout with some deer and rabbits as one does. I brought along some wine and grapefruit which don’ go together if you eat them at the same time, but are fine for eating and then drinking. My lovely dress is from Stories & Co by Flowey for Collabor88. I interviewed the designer Flutter Memel for this month’s issue of VSN. You can read the article here.
Tuli is back for Skin Fair and bringing us new pretty faces. She’s got appliers for Maitreya, Slink and Belleza bodies I was delighted to see. I was a little sad face to not have this pretty skin for my Lelutka head but if taking off my head is the sacrifice I have to make I will survive I suppose. Continue reading →
Don’t you love it when the sun is bright and streams in through the windows creating an interplay of light and shadow in your home? I know cats love it as they shift to follow the light. I am more a shade person and will shift from the sunlight into the shade, but I still love to see the beams of light moving across my home.
My dress is a super-feminine lace dress from Gizza called Cara. It is very demure and feminine from the front, though there is a bit of a surprise from the back as you shall see.
I am relaxing in the living room from my new cottage by dust bunny that I picked up at The Arcade. Through the windows you can see the greenhouse as well. The side tables and the pitcher of baby’s breath and the book on the far table are all from the dust bunny collection at The Arcade. Scarlet Creative’s Amelie sofa seems made for this sweet little cake of a house. I changed the pictures in the frames from the DRD frames I got at December’s Arcade. I thought it might be fun to put in old family photos, so the pictures are of my grandmother, great grandfather, great-great-great grandfather, a family reunion in 1901 and other old family photos. Emery released pencil skirts and sweaters at Collabor88 this month. Both are great separates for mixing and matching, but the pencil skirts in particular are investment pieces. They are beautifully crafted as you can see in the picture below where I am sitting and you can see that the interior is lined so there is no alpha messing up the picture. Continue reading →
