Are you good at admitting you’re wrong? It’s a skill. When I’m working, toiling at my desk and blogging, shooting, styling, I have no problem admitting something’s wrong. “Look at that intersection” or “Oh god why did I think that went together” or whatever it is I’ve done wrong, I am ok with admitting it. I’m good with accepting it and moving on.

I’ll be edgy, I thought whimsically, and wear ripped hose. Then I spent the rest of my day wondering why my hose wouldn’t rez. Clearly, edgy isn’t my cup of tea.
I decided to check out the Ricielli hunt yesterday after I picked up some cat food (and dammit a new cat) and I was pleased with how simple the hunt was. Fashion for Life has been underway for a bit now, but you still have time to come see the venue, hunt for a few idols, bid on some charity items, and pick up some unique, ethnic inspired Couture Fashions.
One night on plurk I saw a post asking if anyone would like to do some crossdressing Supernatural cosplay, and I said sure why not. That is how I became Rufus, a wily grump haunted by his own horrid hunter’s past.
I choose this shot out of many simply because it was a different view than what some of the others took.
The final day of Modavia Fashion Week opened with the Dutch design house CIA from Ayla Strading in a joint presentation with Joy Laperriere of SHI. I am new to CIA and am thrilled with the introduction. I love the bright, saturated colors and definitely plan to pick up at least that black top with the floral embroidery. Continue reading →
