A trip to Second Life’s® Rose Theater requires a gown worthy of the venue and this recent release from VoguE Fashion is in all ways worthy. It has the regal red, black and gold colors, rich and strong colors that for centuries have signified formal elegance. The gown has a rich brocade band marking the chevroned drop waist and a bodice of red glass beans embellished with gold threads. Even the lush shoulder fur is dusted with gold. My jewelry from Donna Flora for My Second Box is just a regal and rich and the topaz gems are huge.

Beautiful mesh eyes from A:S:S that are exclusive to My Second Box have been released to the group. You get ALL of the eyes you see her for the 300L group join fee PLUS you get all the other awesome gifts too. VISION by A:S:S made the first mesh eyes that I ever thought looked at all wearable and you’ve seen me wear them quite a bit in posts here. I love the natural look sclera and the gorgeous tones you can get them in.

I put a few colors on to test them with my skin tone. Resizing them is a snap with the HUD.

My Second Box is now open for DECEMBER enrollment!! That’s right – it’s time to get ready for our November designers. For 300L you will receive 5 gift items that are for My Second Box group members only.

Designers in BOLD – well, let’s face it – its’ not a secret – THEY ARE DECEMBER!!!! YAAAAAY

Five of these designers will release a special item for MSB Shoppers each month Oct – Nov – Dec around the 15th of each month.  You must rejoin the group each month as a shopper for a group fee of 300L.

My Second Box is a monthly subscription group with free gifts from carefully chosen designers from across the grid. Similar to the real life monthly sample boxes you get.

– Monthly Subscription fee: 300L every month.
– Subscription is open from 1st to 25th of each month
– Gifts are sent to subscribers on the 15th
– All subscribers are EJECTED FROM group on the 26th of month –
– Subscribers MUST re-subscribe and pay the $300L fee at the beginning of each month

DISCLAIMER: It is up to the subscriber (you) to obtain your gifts in a timely fashion. There will be a notice that the group will close within 24 hours just as a reminder.

My Second Box Launches – Showing Off Two of Five!

When I was growing up, we’d drive to the city to shop. We’d shop at Ayres, and at each department we’d tell the clerk, “for delivery.” Makeup was purchased at department stores, Bluegrass perfume (appropriate for young girls), an odd bob or doodle for your hair, and the items you NEEDED – nylons, new shoes, a sweater or two, maybe coats.

My grandmother and mom were usually with me. We’d eat lunch at the tea room, maybe finish up the shopping in the discount cellar for fun and drive home. Magically, the next day, a truck would arrive with brown wrapped packages with all of our purchases in them. Continue reading →
