After leaving the islands where Cajsa and I were so happy for several years, I’ve returned to a spot on one of what was always my favorite places….Juicy.
It’s a tropical paradise you see, and just the sort of escape I can use from time to time. There’s room here for both Cajsa and I to enjoy the surf and relaxation of a well kept sim, as well as beautiful shops at our fingertips. It’s a bloggers’ dream really.
I’ve got a bit unpacked, but I found a record player and I am afraid I indulged in a bit of fun for a while rather than working.
I’ve got to find a spot to rezz all my old house so I can drag out the things I can’t get unpacked.
Adam & Eve have released some lovely new pretties for VINTAGE FAIR and I had to hit the town in this beautiful dress made JUST for dancing. The swirl of the skirt and lovely fabrics have my swooshing around the grid in glee.
Truly, only of my favorite creatures is the party dress and this one is extraordinary. Continue reading →
I spent about 20 minutes editing photos after shooting in my home studio, only to realize when I was done that I had uploaded the originals to FLICKR. In a moment of frustration I decided to make lemonade and declare this intentional and show off how lovely raw photos can be. WELL THEY CAN BE. Continue reading →
I was out for a stroll when I discovered a little problem with my rings. IEQED made these gorgeous rings for mesh hands and she was thoughtful enough to include a little note so you knew which hands depending on your body etc. I read the card, saw that for SLINK it required ELEGANT hands and so hey I already had those on – huzzah!
Except, they didn’t fit. In fact, one ring was floating in space and the rest weren’t centered on my fingers. I’ve worn IEQED rings many times, I’ve never had this problem. I read the notecard again. SLINK ELEGANT. I messaged Cajsa, she said she had them and would check, she says “They fit fine.” Now I’m perplexed. Cajsa is wearing her SLINK elegant hands and they fit, and I’m wearing mine and they don’t fit and OMG WHAT IS HAPPENING?????? Continue reading →
Seriously you should just go to the beach. It’s so much better than hanging around your platform doing nothing.
Trust me on this. Go get a new swimsuit and get yourself to a beach. You won’t be sorry.

My typist went on vacation so she sent me off to a beach to enjoy some sun and waves, she’s so thoughtful to me. Even though it’s available every day in my SL, there is something lovely about intentionally spending some days awash in surf and sand. Continue reading →
Let’s face it, some people aren’t themselves until they eat. I’m not myself until I get a cup (or two) of hot Joe in the morning. In fact, I’m downright cranky I confess. I probably shouldn’t get this cranky but darnit, the service in this place is just too damn slow. Continue reading →
So many things are just a headache away from solving. Right now my head hurts. Decisions are hard, and I’m not a girl who makes them when I don’t have to. Yet here I am making decisions, shedding my skin and becoming a new girl.
It’s rather liberating. Sort of a “dance in the cold ass snow” sort of liberating.
“We got into an argument over the color of love. I said it was pink, and he said it was red. So you see, I had no other choice but to stab him.” I swear it was pure coincidence that I chose this quote by Jacob Kintz for my Flickr picture titles today and not commentary on the propensity of some people to go from I disagree to I want you to die in a heartbeat. Incidentally, Jacob Kintz is so weird in a funny weird, not creepy weird way. He makes a living, I guess, from coming up with odd one-liners, quotable quotes brought to you by internet ads and click-bait. I admire people who find ways to make this new internet information economy work for them in new and odd ways. Continue reading →
