There is such a range at Shoetopia that if your avatar wears shoes of any sort, it’s likely you can pick up something that fits your style and look. First of all, I’m going to show you how Jackal of Lassitude and Ennui can rock a range of awesome from stiletto sandals for your SLink feet (above) to gorgeous boots for role play or less mainstream fashion – for your REGULAR feet! I kinda love these boots a lot.
Once upon a time, in a land far far away, there was a princess. She was known as Snow White. Some may figure they know this tale, but you only have heard the beginning.
Deathly Silence from Gizza is ghoulishly delightful, curvalicious and macabre, slinky and scary, spooky and sexy and perfect for those of us who enjoy being a ghoul.
I’m a ghoul, and by me that’s only great!
I am proud that my silhouette is curvy,
That I walk with a sweet and ghoulish gait
With my hips kind of swivelly and swervy.
For me, the best news of the season is the re-opening of Luxuria by Roslin Petion. While Roslin did not leave SL, she closed down and stopped creating for a time to focus on a very busy first life. Her name has been behind many of the best brands in Second Life®, Fleur, 5th & Oxford, Savile Row and Luxuria. I am excited to see her reemerge as a designer with the renaissance of Luxuria, her lingerie brand. Roslin has a love affair with lingerie that is shown in her exacting detail and flawless execution. This Cherie set consists of separate pieces, the bra, panties, and garters in a treasure chest’s richness of jewel tones. With ten colors in all, there’s all you ever really need, but then need is not the operative world with women and luxurious lingerie, is it?
I had this blog post planned. A couple of Arcade items, an item from Acid Lily, some Collabor88 – a well rounded event post. I’d shot it over a couple of days, dorking around with lighting, realizing after ten shots I was on medium resolution (this explained a lot).
Then my real life phone rang. The cellphone in my pocket rang – and I looked at it with dread. No one calls you with good news at 7am. No one. It was Cajsa and I knew why she was calling.
You probably know it too, our friend Giulia, SL’s Squinternet Larnia had died. Cajsa was calling me to let me know, so that I didn’t read it on the internet that a friend had died. Continue reading
I was having a relaxing evening in my own home, trying to decide where to go this evening, and at my vanity table enjoying new releases from cheLLe and FLAIR for COSMETICS FAIR which opens tomorrow.
New mascara, new eyeshadow and nail polish – surely this means it’s going to be a fine evening. New makeup is always a good omen. Continue reading
I noticed when doing my credits for this post that I have two “E” items which had me asking plurk for more. . The first is this cute leather mini from E! (see the exclamation point) which is Eclectic Apparel, the work of Eclectic Wingtips. It comes with a hud that allows you to change the metal findings from gold to silver to black and back. You also can change the upper “belt/sash” portion with several color and print options. It’s sassy and short and just the perfect choice for the new ruffled top from La Penderie de Nicole, which also comes with options, including black with several choices in contrast ruffle lining. The Lab did a partnership with Amazon.com a few weeks ago for a “free pet” family – the Troobles. It was free – you just had to click buy and it was delivered magically to your inventory.
I do like pets. Continue reading
Second Life is a fantasy world for us all. I’m perfectly thin, I’m blonde again (the color of my childhood hair). My house is never messy and and I can simply log out when I’m annoyed.
It’s a shame then that awesome events like Fantasy Faire sometimes get looked at like “oh if I don’t have elf ears or cloven hooves it’s not for me.” Continue reading
Yes, I went for baroque, combining a sweater, skirt, collar, leggings and jewelry for a lace on lace style that is as extravagant as it is elegant. The skirt I have worn before, a favorite of mine from Baiastice. It is just the right length and has a nice high waist to fit well with so many tops. The sweater from h.m.a.e.m. is divine and cleverly comes with the alpha in two lengths in case you want to show some midriff. She made a black sweater with white lace also and I may go back and pick it up. Continue reading
