I’m liking this idea of getting one new item, and matching it with a bunch of older things from my inventory. For one, I’m thrifty these days and it saves me some l$. Also, it ensures I will not show the exact same look everyone is displaying on the feeds. I fatpacked the Jouy dress at the Emery Booth at Collabor 88, it came with a lovely jacket but I found one from
I didn’t feel like travelling on the grid to take m picture, so I just stayed at home. I do love my home, I probably should show more of it some day.

Today’s the day! Vintage Fair opens at noon SLT, and will stay open until the 24th. Please keep in mind your avatar complexity must remain under 50K, otherwise you’ll automatically get booted. My advice? Detach all, wear a full alpha layer and only that, complexity : 0. Makes the event easier to experience, not only for you, but for everyone else too. You can also derender other people : world -> show friends only.
I’m wearing a skin from ND/MD, that wasn’t originally designed for LeLutka heads, but for Catwa, but I liked the look on the picture, and it includes Omega appliers so I tried it on. It looks amazing, except for the mouth that doesn’t look good at all. But I was able to fix that easily with one of Izzie’s nude lipsticks. I highly recommend trying a demo, but this skin is really worth it.

I don’t get the smoking in SL. I’m a smoker in RL (well not at the moment for baby bump reasons) but I never got the appeal for cigarettes in SL. My avatar is a better version of me, smoother skin, finer features, perkier boobs… I can play with piercings and tattoos at times because, unlike in real life, they can be removed quickly and painlessly, and obviously she’s a non-smoker. But when I unpacked this cigarette with mouthpiece from Dreamcatcher I knew I just had to show you. It comes with poses but I used another pose pack, also from Vintage Fair, that’s called Moonlight and Martinis, and includes a cigarette too, as well as a glass of… Martini! As usual, you’ll find all the credits after the pictures!

As promised, here’s another post about this month’s round of Uber, Biker Chic. I’m showing you other colours of the Tres Blah set, the adorable Lamb hair, and the flawlessly textured furniture set from Cheeky Pea.
So, Blueberry has a new gorgeous piece of clothing out. It’s called Liza, and it’s supposed to be a dress. However, my toon being very modest, there’s no way she would ever wear it as one. I therefore had to find her something to wear under it. I tried all my jeans, and leggings, and nothing fit. It made me sad. Then someone suggested Izzie’s, and sure enough, I found exactly what I needed.
You know these Ingenue flats I found at Shoetopia, and was telling you about in my previous post? Turns out the “Cotton” colour can be tinted, so now I have, in addition to the fatpack, a billion possibilities to match my outfits!
I love, love love my Simone head. It was my first Bento head and so far I haven’t found one that I can shape to look like what I want, as much as this one. But I find the poses a bit mean looking, for the most part. So when I found that new HUD from Happy Dispatch, I was eager to try it. You can animate the eyes and mouth separately, and adjust the amount of animation you want, like there’s that one smile that makes me look like I’m about to eat you, but if I tone it down, it’s lovely! You should go try it.

Hello and happy Monday! I’ve done some shopping today and I figured I might as well show you! As a blogger, I am lucky to have early access to Shoetopia, and I found some gorgeous things, starting with those flats from Ingenue. They are perfection. I had to fatpack them as I couldn’t decide on a colour… They are so good everyone is getting them, it seems Gidge just posted about them too! Honestly, 12 colours for 1100l$, that’s not even 100l$ a pair, it’s a steal! Shoetopia opens today at noon SLT.
FaMESHed just opened and is, as usual, completely full, but if you manage to pop there, be sure to try the lovely hair Lamb just released there. It’s so cute, and comes with a styling HUD that allows you to hide or show the built-in hairbase and fiddle with the bangs. It’s also unrigged so if your head is weirdly shaped like mine, you can move it around and make it work!
Every week-end, Maxi Gossamer has some styles out for a discounted price, and this week she has, among other things, that very cool sun necklace. It comes in both long and short size, and you can change it from silver to gold.
That shirt! You know the one I mean. We all have one. The shirt we have owned since forever, that repeated washings and years of wear have softened the fabric to a perfect level of comfort. It is the adult equivalent of a blankie. A shirt that ends up in every load of laundry because after a hard day, we put it on the minute we get home, as though putting on a hug. We have forgotten to turn it inside out a few hundred times and the fabric is pilling and snags are visible here and there, but we don’t care. It is our favorite shirt and we will keep it until it falls apart on our body.
Whatever sizing and substance the fabric once held is gone. It conforms to our body like a second skin, a cozy, comfy, second skin that says “You’re good enough. You’re smart enough. And doggone it, people like you.” We have that shirt in our first lives, but now we can have it in our second as well, thanks to Vinyl’s Little Toast (sukoshitosuto) and any doubts whether this distress and well-worn look was not deliberate can be dispelled with a look at some of the other options on the texture hud.
I am loving this side wrap dress from Ison. It comes in several summer colors as well as a few prints. I opted for this lovely blue, one of my favorite colors as I believe you can tell looking at the cabin and furnishings.
