Yesterday i went to explore Mayfair, the first all mesh sim in SL and i liked it so much i decided to take a few snaps. So, what else do you need when you have a beautiful location and you’re in the mood for some niiiiiice pictures? You need appropriate clothes and accessories to match the coolness of the place, of course!
And i knew what to wear.
ChouChou has returned for a short time and I popped over to check it out. I opted to adopt their region windlight settings to see it as they wanted it to be seen. It sure is dramatic, though you cannot see my outfit. I wandered around and then noticed that their other sims were open, too, so I popped over to Babel.
Babel is also very dramatic with a seemingly never-ending stairway with lots of boxes – each with a short measure of music that affects the play of music as you climb the stairs. This is a sim that you simply must have your sound turned up so you can experience it at its best. I was wearing a sweater from Diapop for Back 2 Black – the awareness campaign for mental health issues. This sweater focuses on comfort and it really is a comfy sweater, isn’t it? Continue reading →
Ok, folks, this post has nothing to do with Superman, but I couldn’t help mentioning him after taking a few snaps in the Diapop shop which got one of its walls decorated with that famous Banksy’s graffiti.
In my humble opinion, it’s a great deco choice made by Dianne Peccable – owner and designer of Diapop – and I’m not surprised because she has taste. I know Dianne since long time, she’s such a lovely person, a sweet friend and a talented designer, I always liked her creations and her 70’s/vintage/neo romantic/hippie/alternative/and more style…..oh well, I would just call it Dianne’s style.
The Black Betty dress is her latest creation and I’ve been wearing it quite a lot lately after deciding (it didn’t take me much time!) what hair, shoes, accessories could go well with it.
Virtual Decay has always been one of my favourite sims ever, I used to hang out a lot at the old location to take snaps at the amazing industrial/post apocalyptic town with its fantastic buildings, streets and structures created by the talented Maddison Mokeev. Virtual Decay has always been one of my favourite sims ever, I used to hang out a lot at the old location to take snaps at the amazing industrial/post apocalyptic town with its fantastic buildings, streets and structures created by the talented Maddison Mokeev. The Record Store was the place I liked the most. I still do, even though VD got a new location now, the old town doesn’t exist anymore, but the rez area gives you the chance to explore all the buildings on sale and one of them is, oh yeah, The Record Store.
I love its vintage atmosphere as much as I love hanging out at some old vinyl record shops in RL. Oh…the smell of vinyl record shops!
So I went to VD to take some shots at The Record Store and I thought I might wear something appropriate to the atmosphere. Hope you like it 🙂
Here’s a cute casual outfit perfect for chilling out with friends at The Velvet or running about shopping. The top is from &beans, comes on multiple layers and has an option to wear without the lacy ruffles on the neck. The pants are from Diapop. Now Diapop makes some adorable tops and if they would only make them on all layers and long enough to tuck in, my budget would be in serious trouble. If you don’t mind crop tops and single layer tops (and many folks don’t) you should check out how cute they are. You can get an idea just from these adorable pants. The flats are from Shiny Things – and I lurve them.
Yummy! That’s what popped into my head when I saw this fabulous jacket which is part of a fabulously beautiful outfit with a rich cream skirt. A stunning outfit but I wanted to mix it up a bit and make it more casual what with this being I ♥ Evie’s Closet week and all. So I went for this fab cotton skirt from A la Folie and some rad shoes.
I wore this outfit on Sunday – to lounge about The Velvet whilst listening to Maht’s set. It’s comfy casual, as you can see, though I suppose I should look into getting new leggings. Those look a bit worn.
