Ziezo, the elegant ballgown recently released by Sascha’s Designs is a beautiful example of the basic truth that the wearing o’ the green can be elegant. I enjoy a fun tacky party as much as the next girl, but if you events calendar features more dressy soirees – there is hope!
This gown is available in a rainbow of deep hued jewel tones but the green is super elegant and totally holiday appropriate.
I’m ready. Who has my green beer? (I didn’t say to dismiss EVERYTHING that was tacky)
The birthday of friend and designer Polaire Aeghin of PRELUDE was an excuse to break out this shimmery confection of a gown from Victoria V that I picked up during the grand opening of the SXY2nd sim. Yeah I know, your friend is a creator so who do you wear to their private event? Continue reading →
Buying and wearing a wedding dress for no reason. Okay this might not be technically and officially a WEDDING DRESS -or maybe it is. It wasn’t labeled as such. But I was in a daffy mood, rolling around THE DECK – Sasy Scarboroughs beautiful beach sim. I popped into Tori-Wear and was just all girly mooshy about this big white dress.
If you ever said “When I grow up I want to be a princess” have I got a dress for you. While walking the boots at Relay For Life I came upon DeGroot Innovations and saw this and went “ooh” and then “ohh la la” and then “ooh” again. Yes, this is the dress of childhood princess dreams and grownup fantasies.

But she couldn’t hold a candle to the joy of unwrapping that 11inch doll box and seeing that pinky goodness swaddled in carboard.
YEAH I GOT ONE! WHAT’D YOU THINK THIS WAS SOME STORY ABOUT ME PINING FOR THE BARBIE I NEVER GOT? PFAH! AS IF!
Red and pink have been the color of the season so I was kind of tickled to see such an icy winter blue being given away at Lemania to her group. Like so many of her designs, it’s a fancy – there’s nothing practical about it.
Which is exactly what I like. Good grief why play on the Grid and be PRACTICAL? (note – I think this dress is being retired also based on the description on it) Continue reading →
Once Upon a Time, Cajsa TP’d me into a store. It was fully of elegant, delicious ballgown-goodness. There were some fastastic dollarbies (piles of gowns from older releases for about 5L) and a neat viewer that rotated THROUGH was was in the freebie boxes so you could SEE them. I thought this was a great touch – how often do you get home with a hideous freebie? This way, you only pick up the one you want.
And I BOUGHT one, this EXCELLENT GREEN GOWN! I had an event to wear it to. Continue reading →
