For reasons I cannot properly explain I was compelled to try out some various AOs from Marketplace the other day. I decided that given the fact that decent AOs can be expensive AF that maybe, maybe I’d find a gem or two on MP. You never know.
For today’s experiment I’m not using vids – which I should have but RL is making it impossible ATM so I think I will experiment with shooting short vids of the AOs next time around and if so I’ll include this one.
What do you do on a day that a great man dies? When you wake up and the world is less one artist, one incredible voice and talent?
You get up and do the things you were supposed to do that day, because despite the gaping hole in the universe that is suddenly left you aren’t the one who left and you have things to do. Continue reading →
I think everyone’s mom but mine had that room, that perfect living room. The room where things matched, and were coordinated, where things got dusted. We never had that room, we had chaos and messy and mismatched furniture.
When it came time to buy my own house in real life, having that room wasn’t much of a priority to me either – I coveted a proper dining room. I often get comments when I go out, that certain thing I wear seem “out of character”. I’m aware that over the years, I have set a certain persona for my avatar. There are many things that I enjoy in the fashion world, and sometimes these things don’t work with my more dark, supernatural, magical tastes.
That does not mean I choose to stay away from them. I often embrace them, and get a kick out of confusing people, haha.
I do have a love for historical fashion, as well as things considered retro. Genre this round is Rockabilly, mixing the love of the old with something a little bit playful and feisty.
