I think everyone’s mom but mine had that room, that perfect living room. The room where things matched, and were coordinated, where things got dusted. We never had that room, we had chaos and messy and mismatched furniture.
When it came time to buy my own house in real life, having that room wasn’t much of a priority to me either – I coveted a proper dining room. But secretly I’d love to have a room where everything is as it should be. Where guests can drop in and you have no worries about what scary things might be hidden in the couch. Continue reading →

It’s Only Fashion: What’s the craziest thing you ever did in Second Life®? Most exciting? Silliest? Is there a story you can share that captures your Second Life experience?
Kavar Clearslate: I think the silliest was a few years ago (after a Hair Fair set up in fact) I set up this race track with friends in the sky with buildings that had those break apart scripts in them and we spend 2 hours wrecking the place with cars and prims flying everywhere, it was a blast. I often get comments when I go out, that certain thing I wear seem “out of character”. I’m aware that over the years, I have set a certain persona for my avatar. There are many things that I enjoy in the fashion world, and sometimes these things don’t work with my more dark, supernatural, magical tastes.
That does not mean I choose to stay away from them. I often embrace them, and get a kick out of confusing people, haha.
I do have a love for historical fashion, as well as things considered retro. Genre this round is Rockabilly, mixing the love of the old with something a little bit playful and feisty.
The awesome BUY ONE GET ONE FREE Event for shoes is in effect at all of these great mainstores! First up, House of Rain with two exclusive colors and then Livalle with a great wedge and some flip flops that are perfect for spring break! Continue reading →
I started out my early morning shopping and usual blogger work a bit earlier than usual today. I think of blogging both as my SL Hobby and let’s face it, it’s also a bit of a job. Some people role play families, some people role play being a space pirate, some people role play being a cabbage for all I know. I guess that makes my role play in SL being a fashion blogger. I love it, I love styling my pixel self, I love the choices and variety of fashion – I love that high heels NEVER NEVER NEVER hurt my feet. I love being perfect based on what I consider to be ideal. I love that genetics play no part in how pixel Gidge looks. Continue reading →
I was excited when Cajsa told me that LEA has a build that recreates the 4077th. If you don’t know MASH you probably don’t get the reference but it was a seminal movie and TV show of the 70s in America. MASH was everything and Hotlips was always one of my favorite characters.
Selfish, self centered, myopic in her vision and fastidiously stuck on “the rules” Hotlips was also a human, caring person underneath. Watching that character build and grow over the years was an interesting transformation. Continue reading →

I had to hit the studio early this morning as it’s going to be a busy next 48 hours. 21Shoe is coming and that can only mean one thing – awesome shoes are coming and I’ve got lots of shots to get done before 1.21.
