And Now It’s Been A Year

I don’t have any plans in SL this NYE. I have a new roombah with a cat/dragon on it vacuuming (thank you SO MUCH) around my house and New Year’s Rockin Eve on the TV and that’s going to have to be good enough for me to close the year. When I wake up tomorrow it’s a new year. That’s always such an odd feeling, a year has passed. How did that happen?

I have to make some adjustments to my SL for 2015 and to my RL but they aren’t RESOLUTIONS. Resolutions always feel false to me. These are more, life changes that I’ve just been putting off because I’m lazy. Not the same at all. I may continue to put them off for a while. We’ll see.   Continue reading →

Lazy Days

I’m a little late this week because I had a long weekend and have pretty much spent the past 48 hours lazing around in my underwear trying to find the energy to add clothing. In SL I haven’t been much different.

I got this lingerie set from Blacklace and since I put it on I have been unable to take it back off. It’s just so pretty! I love the lace details on every item which brings the set completely together. Plus it’s Blacklace so I know that I can trust the quality.

The set comes with all of the layers you would expect, including the gloves and the stockings. It also comes with appliers for slink hands and feet and appliers for Lola’s, Gos, Wowmeh and tons of others. I love this flexibility. It means I can wear it no matter how big my boobs or ass are today and still look hot.

Of course, I chose a favourite “lazy spot” for my picture. The Pixel Bean is the ideal place to kick back and chill out with a cup of freshly brewed coffee. I really suggest you all check it out at some point.

Comfy and Fine

Despite my wishes, the cold air returned, causing me to thank the Lindens for my fire place and making me turn up that furnace too for a cozy night in. I didn’t feel like anything, certainly not plugging into the world and talking to anyone.

I have a new to me Stephen King collection of short stories that I’m reading. I’m stuck on one, that is either predictable and boring or about to be absolutely terrifying at the next page turn. I don’t know which. Continue reading →

Stylized and festive hair is what you can find at Wasabi Pills but no matter the fact that I always saw fashionistas sporting fun looks by them, I never got around to checking them out. It was really Ivey Deschanel’s fault. She made these huge floopy boudouir slippers that required new lingerie to wear with them. I’d had them a few days and already felt bad for having nothing new to parade around the house in with them. Blacklace Halloween

I am wary of holiday outfits – so may are one-day-wonders that will never be worn again. You cannot say that about this special Halloween Edition of the Foxy lingerie set from Blacklace.  Blacklace does extraordinary lingerie and does it well, so when Mariska Simons turned her hand to making a holiday set, she did it with a deft, imaginative touch that evokes Halloween implicity, not explicitly – making a lingerie set that can conceivably be worn throughout the year.
