I’m counting down the days until Game Of Thrones begins again. It’s pretty much the only reason for living (kidding). To keep in the spirit of one of my favorite characters Daenerys, I found this super cute mesh gown from On A Lark called Dragonius, it has dragon scales…how nifty! I also really love the bottom of the dress, the gathering and the splash of color peeping through.
Also, here is an obligatory close up because why the heck not!

The post title has no relationship with my photos, but it seemed a good companion to Gidge’s post today. There’s a song called House Without a Door, a jazz instrumental, but the mood of this song is more in sync with Pharrell’s Happy.
My dress today needed a stunning setting, so I headed over the The Chamber Society’s new dance club, The Sable Club. In keeping with the rest of the village, it’s a Jazz Age venue rich with period detail. My dress is more modern, in particular when seen from behind where its dangerously low back is revealed.
The dress is from Delirium Style – a special release for The Style Icon, a fashion fair organized by Legal Insanity honoring the icons of fashion past and present. I am looking forward to seeing who inspired the designers and how they interpret and reimagine their inspiration.
Even though all my pics are selfies really, aren’t they? So this is a selfie of a selfie? I don’t even know. It’s suddenly Selfie Inception.
I don’t know what’s happening.
I do know that COLLABOR88 is open and that means I have lots of amazing things to show you- and this is just ONE of them, from Katatonik! These would be great masks for a Mardi Gras ball!

I had a hard time deciding what to put on today, and I might have to change again because I have more gowns than I have social occasions. This gown from MIAMAI fit exactly what I was looking for in elegant when I thought of NYE this morning. Continue reading
I was underwhelmed with Materials the first few releases I was introduced to. I don’t mean that as an insult, but as a consumer when you hear creators raving about something for weeks and then you see and think “Oh, that’s all it is? Shiny?” it’s hard to disguise your let down.
I definitely agree that items with materials have more lustre, but other than some furniture items (leather) I just didn’t see the OOOMPH or a real reason to rave like it was the second coming. Continue reading
Miamai has again released an evening gown that is as elegant as it is amazing. Rich with movement and textured deliciously, this would be an amazing evening gown for any formal event for the upcoming social season.
Its just so happens that she also released some devil horns hair for Halloween, and I thought PERFECT.
Glamorous demon. Continue reading
Ison has released an elegant lace bodiced gown for Collabor88 that’s perfect for nicer Halloween/Fall events. It’s richly textured and you can imagine how heavy it would be once you put it on. I love a gorgeously made gown, and this one is perfect – I wonder where I can wear it?
I’ve been playing with projectors and have released one as a group gift at PRETENSE POSES. You can touch the subscribo to pick it up. As with all projectors, you’ll need shadows for sun/moon + projectors enabled and a nice dark windlight to see it properly.
You can hop this ride to slap the subscribo and pick it up. There was a technical difficulty with my subscriber this weekend so if you touched it and didn’t get it,just let me know! Continue reading
Yesterday i visited Collabor88 and, after waiting for everything to rez properly, i was really amazed at the sight of so many beautiful creations. Not that normally i’m not amazed by C88 things, but it doesn’t happen often that i like almost the whole collection, like in this case or like the famous anniversary case. I grabbed all the demos i wanted and went back home to try them on, cause the place was too laggy to try demoing there.
Just one thing disappointed me, tee*fy‘s stuff wasn’t out yet. You know, tee*fy’s spot is the first one i put my eyes on each time i go visit C88.
This morning – my morning, when yankees are probably sleeping and the place should be less crowded haha! – i went back to buy the things i wanted and i finally saw that tee*fy’s items were out.
And i drooled over the Dakota Corset Gown which i purchased without even trying the demo on.
Wonderfully texturized, this is one of the most beautiful things i’ve seen recently on SL. This is a perfect example of mesh which i don’t often see on long dresses. Look at the way it “caresses ” the body with every movement, look at the perfectly irregular cut, look at the high front slit sensually showing the leg, look at the belt which stylishly completes the look.
Ahhh…Dakota, so sensual and elegant at the same time.
More after the cut!
It’s Friday night and that can only mean one thing – get dressed up and find a fancy dress party. Good thing I finally made it into Collabor88 because there are plenty of items to make all your fancy dress party dreams come true! Like this glorious vintage dress from Ison. It was love at first site.

An elegant throwback to a more refined and stylish time, this month’s COLLABOR88 celebrates the era of flappers and art deco, the time when men were men and women were dames.
I already said that, didn’t I?
Well it’s still true.
Except that only cheap women were dames and I’m a lady. Obviously. Continue reading
