Lybra at GEN-Neutral

Stone walls do not a prison make, Nor iron bars a cage

GEN-Neutral is open again with several great creations. The remit for GEN-Neutral designs is to produce gender neutral designs. Things that appeal to both men and women, that can be worn by both men and women. How that is being interpreted varies. There’s a fair number of unisex items such a jeans and tee shirts. There are also several poses, decor and furnishing. All of which tells me that there is a struggle recruiting clothing designers who can get a handle on the idea of multi-gender design over unisex design. One artist who did not struggle, though, was Lybra Rage. She produced leggings and tops that men and women can proudly and beautifully wear.

The leggings can be worn on the tattoo layer or can be applied to the various mesh bodies using an applier hud. There are six options for the pants. I chose the abstract. I shot the pictures at Prison by Cica Ghost. There’s a quote that says “Stone walls do not a prison make, not iron bars a cage.” The idea is universal that the strongest prisons are in our minds and even those in prison can be free if their minds are free. This is true for the most part, though I think somewhat glib in the face of what we know of the dehumanizing reality of prisons. However, the man who wrote it, Richard Lovelace was imprisoned for his political beliefs, so perhaps he knew something of prison. At that time, though, prisoners of means could purchase better rooms and could be quite comfortable in prison.

I added some shoes from Glamistry. Although not technically gender neutral I bet Derek J would love them. You can also see the wrist bands from Tracei for GEN-Neutral.

The nails are by ChiMia and are also found at GEN-neutral. This is another, closer look at the bracelets.

The makeup is Glam Affair’s Megan. I love the strong eyebrows on Megan. The lipstick is by Jumo, a bright gold that I toned down with the Lelutka Stella HUD.
