Baiastice released a gorgeous dress for this underwater-themed Collabor88. I will confess I was nervous about this month’s theme, but as usual, the collaborators of Collabor88 were not too literal and came through with flying colors – mostly blues.
The back of the dress is drop-dead sexy and not for the faint of heart.
It’s a full-length gown that reaches the floor. You could wear it without shoes, but I did not. I like to wear shoes, even if you cannot see them. Pixel tacks are everywhere.
Yummy made stunning jewelry with mermaids for Collabor88. It is okay to be literal when it is absolutely gorgeous. I am wearing eye shadow from Glam Affair for Collabor88 that coordinates with the blues and delivers lots of drama. There are several shadows, some fiercely bold and others delicate and subtle. I combined that with JUMO’s Passion Lips.

When I put this dress on, I immediately thought of these shoes from Fission at My Slink Obsession. However, they did not come in a dark blue and I didn’t want to wear black, so I decided, since they were modifiable, to tint them.
How to Tint: You can also edit textures while you are wearing items – which is especially nice for hair.
- Make a copy before you start in case you make a mess. Right click and select edit.
- Click on the Textures tab of the edit window.
- Choose select face and click on the texture you want to tint.
- Click on the color window, click around the color selector until you get what you want. Once you do, you can drag it down below to save for editing multiple times. Close the window.
- Then click on the other one and tint it.
- Close the edit window and pick up your items.
