Someone wrote on SLSECRETS last week that they miss bloggers writing about what they were wearing. I think a lot of bloggers still do this. There are some who don’t. It depends on where their fancy takes them, and what their blog means to them. Cajsa and I still write, but we love words as much as we love fashion. But most importantly, we write for an audience that likes, more or less, what we do.

Knowing who you want to write for, and what you want to write about is an important part of being a blogger. Dressing my doll, and letting her have a bit of a virtual life is only part of it for me. I also like to share her with you. Some days that’s as quick as LOOK AT THIS THING. Maybe that’s because in real life, I’d be so harried that day, this is how I’d end up communicating with you, were we friends.

My friend Sasy once told me that how people enjoy their blogs is very personal. Some like to flip through pretty pictures, some like to settle in with a hot cup and have a read. For me, my desire fluctuates like the tide. I scan the feed for pretties to buy, looking at pics and flipping to bookmark them to come back for later. I like things on plurk, and this becomes my virtual shopping list.  Sometimes I have more time, and I’m intrigued by critique or fancy. So when I post, some part of me is seeking to fill the need of both folks. I know I won’t ever hit the mark perfectly, but I’m writing not just for me but TO you.

Today I’m wearing my flawless body by BELLEZA – VENUS, and their recently released MAE skin which has a wicked cat eye liner look. I love taffeta, and the taffeta look of this dress from Tres Blah makes me hear it’s crinkling scritching sound as you walk, just looking at it. I just love it. Did I mention I LOVE taffeta? I need more reasons in life to wear taffeta.  The blunt cut bangs on this Wasabi Pills hair make me want to reconsider them in RL but I know I could never pull this off.  Too structured for my SL self, yet I covet the look. and that’s the goal isn’t it? Achieve what we covet but can’t attain? I know, it’s definitely one of mine.

I chose the skull earrings just because.
