Keep It Simple

I completely fell in love with this coat from Topazia even though I am wearing it without its fur cuffs and collar. It comes in 9 lovely colors and is styled to easily wear over a dress or skirt. The collar and cuffs are typical prim fur with the typical alpha glitches that only disappear when viewed from the right direction. I thought the coat looked more chic and modern without them. However, for a more luxe look you can certainly add them. For me, I will go with the clean lines of the simple mesh coat.

As you can see, it’s not lacking for design details that define it as a high end coat with the caplet bodice and the lovely bow. The dress, worn a size smaller peek sour where it should and not where it should not. The little handbag from Cherry is delicious.

dec04_010The Juliette dress from Legal Insanity is a lovely chevron print with a sheer underskirt. It comes in either a chevron or herringbone pattern in several colors. It was almost impossible to choose one, they were all so lovely.

SLink’s Priscilla Plateau heels are made to go with the super-chic high bare feet that were released, with these shoes, at Shoetopia and now will be available in the store.

I had to zoom in close on these too-adorable-for-words nails from FLAIR. I am sure lots of SL ballerinas will be sporting this mani/pedi soon, but I decided to wear it even though the thought of dancing on my toes makes me cringe.

Meanwhile, in the holiday spirit and in appreciation for their loyal membership, Truth Hawks has made a marvelous undo for a group gift. There are never enough updos and this one is yummy.

The jewelry came from Kunglers, aptly named serpiente. I like how the lines of the coils echo some of the lines in the dress print and how it unifies all the colors from my outfit. The skin is brand new – a special release from PXL Creations that will be featured in the upcoming fashion and art event and installation from Monica Outlander and MiaMai. You can purchase the skin at the PXL store and the Black Label Venue after the shows are over. Called The Golden Thread, the shows will feature art, fashion and all the best of Second Life creativity. An installation will remain up for people who cannot make the event. Each year, Monica outdoes herself and I cannot wait to see what she has up her sleeve.
