Before MTV, HBO used to do “Music Shorts” which were quickly renamed “Music Videos” and in between movies, you might get two or three videos. It’s the place I saw POP MUSIC (1979 for you non believers) video first. I also saw “Video killed the Radio Star” and other late 70s precursors to 80s pop. A lot of great 80s music, iconic pieces even, launched in 1979.
Apparently the 80s couldn’t wait to get started.
I miss the light hearted joy of that time. So I was excited to see the theme of POP and the fun items created by the creators at this month’s MY ATTIC. DCNY released a set of slinky gowns sexy enough to make Spice Girls drool (complete with microphone) and W.Winx has made another couple of her AWESOME pose prop boxes which make blogging fun and whimsical.
And Tuli?
Well I think it’s obvious that she knows exactly how to do a Pop Princess’s make up!
